Switzerland go in the knockouts. Shaqiri is plying his trade in MLS now, with Chicago Fire and this is likely to be his last tournament as the talisman for his nation. He&#8217;ll be hoping to go out with a bang.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Switzerland player to watch \u2013 Granit Xhaka<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the most experienced players in Switzerland&#8217;s squad, Xhaka, who has suddenly taken on a box-to-box role for club side Arsenal, will need to play a foundational role in more ways than one if the central European nation are to take down Portugal. In the past, his temperament has gotten the better of him but that is seemingly no longer a concern. Now a threat in the opposition box, as well as a presence in his own half, Xhaka will be key in the last 16.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Switzerland emerging player to look out for \u2013 Noah Okafor<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was a toss-up as to whether Noah Okafor would have been part of Switzerland&#8217;s final squad, but the 22-year-old Red Bull Salzburg forward made the cut and he&#8217;s been catching the eye. He&#8217;s already bagged two international goals across 11 appearances while his Champions League form this term has certainly captured the imagination, having score in three successive games against AC Milan, Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb.
