Although there are only a few weeks left of the 2024-25 season, there are a few Premier League<\/a> managers whose futures are in doubt. Check out the latest odds for which manager will be next to leave their post.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erik ten Hag has been the most high-profile exit of the 2024-25 season, parting ways with Manchester United<\/a> at the end of October.<\/p>\n

Alongside Ten Hag, Steve Cooper, Gary O’Neil, Russell Martin, Julen Lopetegui, Sean Dyche and Ivan Juric have all left their posts. Cooper and O’Neil were sacked by Leicester City<\/a> and Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a>, respectively, as they struggled in their battle against relegation — with mixed results. Southampton<\/a> have sacked two managers with Martin and Juric leaving across the season.<\/p>\n

Lopetegui had struggled to get going at West Ham United<\/a>, with a mixture of poor results and a failure to win over the fans. Dyche, meanwhile, felt he had taken Everton<\/a> as far as he could.<\/p>\n

Ruud van Nistelrooy, Cooper’s replacement at Leicester, is the current favourite to be sacked next, odds on at 5\/4 with Sky Bet. This represents a 44.44% implied probability of him being next to go.<\/p>\n

The second-favourite option is actually for no manager to leave before the final games of the season kick off on 25th May. Ange Postecoglou is the next manager fancied to leave before the season is up, as\u00a0he continues to struggle at Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ruud van Nistelrooy<\/h3>\n

Life at the King Power Stadium has not gone well for Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Foxes have been relegated from the Premier League with five games left to play, something they were hoping to avoid when sacking Steve Cooper. It wasn’t even close either. Van Nistelrooy has taken just eight points from his 20 Premier League games in charge of Leicester, averaging 0.40 points per match. Four of those points came in Van Nistelrooy’s first two games too! Leicester have been particularly weak in attack under Van Nistelrooy, failing to score in 14 of his 20 league games in charge. They haven’t scored at the King Power Stadium since December, having lost their past nine home league games to nil — an English men’s top-flight record.<\/p>\n

Ange Postecoglou<\/h3>\n

There’s a chance that Tottenham could end this season with the Europa League<\/a> trophy, leading to Champions League<\/a> football. But there’s now the question of whether that would be enough for Ange Postecoglou to keep his job. In the Premier League, Tottenham have suffered. The north London club sit 16th with five games left to play, having lost 18 of their 33 matches so far. They’ve lost four of their past five league matches and are 11 points outside the top half of the table. Tottenham have nothing to play for in the league, which might see Postecoglou keep his job so late into the campaign.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca<\/h3>\n

There’s a big gap in odds to the third manager fancied to leave before the season is up, but you never know with Chelsea<\/a>. There’s a lot of unhappiness at Stamford Bridge among the fans, as Chelsea are outside the top five looking in. The Blues are in the Europa Conference League<\/a> semi-finals and heavy favourites, but that would only guarantee Europa League football. If Chelsea lose any more ground in the Champions League race, heads could roll.<\/p>\n
