Norris appears to many to be Verstappen’s closest challenger and the McLaren driver has finished second to the Dutchman twice in recent weeks. George Russell was the beneficiary of Verstappen and Norris’ clash at the Austrian Grand Prix last week and he’d love to follow that up with another win here. The Mercedes man is a 16\/1 shot but will have more than a few backers for this one.<\/p>\n

There hasn’t been a British winner of this race since 2021 and that winner was Lewis Hamilton. It marked a third consecutive victory on the circuit and an incredible eighth in total for Lewis. While finishing first may be too much of a stretch for him at 18\/1, it is worth noting that Hamilton has finished on the podium in the British Grand Prix every year since 2014.
