The Republic of Ireland opened Group B3 with a 1-0 defeat in Pristina, where Vedat Muriqi struck in the 83rd minute for Kosovo. Hallgrimsson’s side responded with a 3-0 win over Israel in Debrecen on Sunday, with Troy Parrott, Adam Idah and Jack Moylan all scoring inside the first 25 minutes.
