If you&#8217;ve been meaning to sort out a mini league with your mates, this is the week to do it. The top mini league takes \u00a3100 this weekend, and there are still six weeks left to qualify for the season-long race.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-forget-six-scores-predict-the-lot\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forget six scores &#8211; predict the lot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most Premier League predictor games have you picking six scorelines a week. PL Predictor asks for all 10 fixtures (or more, whenever there&#8217;s an extra game squeezed into the week). PL Predictor isn&#8217;t just player versus player &#8211; it&#8217;s mini league versus mini league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Set up a mini league with your mates (you&#8217;ll need at least five to get going), and your group then competes against every other mini league in the game. That&#8217;s what makes PL Predictor different: it&#8217;s not just about outscoring your mate at the pub, it&#8217;s about your whole group taking on everyone else&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-two-ways-to-score\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Two ways to score<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two scoring mechanisms running side by side:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individual &#8211; your score against your mates in the mini league (bragging rights), and against everyone else on the global leaderboard, with monthly and end-of-season prizes up for grabs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mini league &#8211; your group&#8217;s collective score against every other mini league in the game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mini league scoring works like this: each game week, your mini league takes its top five individual scores and averages them. In a mini league of exactly five, everyone&#8217;s score counts. In a mini league of ten, only the best five that week count &#8211; so there&#8217;s room for someone to have an off week without sinking the group. Season standings are based on average score per game week, not cumulative totals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-why-joining-late-won-t-hurt-you\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why joining late won&#8217;t hurt you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Missed the first couple of game weeks? Doesn&#8217;t matter. Your score is always your total points divided by the number of game weeks you&#8217;ve actually played &#8211; not the number that have gone by. Score 15 points in your first week and 17 in your second, for example, and your season score is shown as 16 (32 \u00f7 2), with no zeros from before you signed up dragging you down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One thing to watch: that forgiveness only applies before you&#8217;ve joined. Miss a game week after signing up and you&#8217;ll score zero for it, which counts against your individual score and can knock your mini league&#8217;s average if there are only five of you in the group. Qualification closes on 21 November 2026, to stop anyone joining in the closing weeks and claiming the top prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-prizes-can-you-win-on-pl-predictor\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What prizes can you win on PL Predictor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every week of the season, the top mini league takes \u00a3100. Over the full season, the top mini league wins \u00a31,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Solo players are also in the running. The top individual player each month is named Manager of the Month and wins \u00a350. Four \u00a3100 weekly mini league prizes have gone out so far. MHI old boys won twice, in Gameweeks 2 and 5, and Marbs (Gameweek 3) and Lodges (Gameweek 4) took one each.
