Only Gil matches his influence in this New England side, and with a goal or an assist both counting, his creativity gives the bet two ways to land. Most bookmakers price this around 10\/11, which makes 8\/5 with LeoVegas exceptional value. But at home they have beaten Montreal, DC United, Columbus Crew, Charlotte, Philadelphia Union and Minnesota United this season, conceding sparingly throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gil pulls the strings with five goals and three assists, Langoni provides the spark, and Matt Turner has played every minute in goal behind a defence that has conceded 18 in 14. The two-month layoff is the only question mark hanging over Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-toronto-fc\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toronto FC<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toronto&#8217;s season stalled in early April and has never restarted. A 3-2 win over Colorado Rapids on 4th April remains their most recent victory. Nine league games have followed without a win, bringing five draws and four defeats, and a slide to 12th in the Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday&#8217;s goalless draw at Montreal at least stopped the losses and gave Toronto match sharpness their hosts lack. There is talent in the side too. Daniel Salloi leads with four goals and three assists, while Josh Sargent has three goals from nine appearances since coming into the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The problem is defensive. Toronto have conceded 29 times in 15 matches, shipped three or more in four different games, and kept their first clean sheet in weeks only on Friday. New England have won four of the last 10 meetings to Toronto&#8217;s three, with three draws, and the goals stand at 13-10 in the hosts&#8217; favour. The quirk is the venue split. New England have won just one of the last five meetings at Gillette Stadium, drawing 1-1 there in September 2025, while their 2-0 win at BMO Field last May was their most convincing recent result in the fixture. Toronto have travelled well to Massachusetts.
