Using data from previous tournaments and qualifying, we’ve tasked our model with creating some World Cup<\/a> AI predictions with correct score picks on every match at this summer’s tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our AI predictor combines data from qualifying matches, previous World Cups, bookmakers and more to determine the most likely correct score outcome from the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the tournament progresses, the model will focus more heavily on the games that have already taken place within the tournament and it will look beyond results to input shot, possession and general match momentum data to see where value may lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

France vs Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

he most mouthwatering semi-final fixture possible. Two of the tournament’s most dominant sides, and between them they have conceded just three goals in twelve games. Something has to give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France have been nothing short of extraordinary \u2014 six wins from six, 16 goals scored, only two conceded across the entire tournament. Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 leads the tournament’s scoring charts with eight goals, and Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 has added five. The 2-0 win over Morocco in the quarter-final was composed and professional, and Deschamps’ side have not looked troubled at any stage. Their disciplinary record is remarkably clean \u2014 only Tchouam\u00e9ni, Barcola, Kon\u00e9, and Olise on yellow cards, none suspended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spain have been equally formidable in a different way. Nine goals scored, only one conceded in six games \u2014 that solitary goal against Belgium in the quarter-final was the first they had conceded in the entire tournament. Mikel Oyarzabal leads their scoring with four goals, Mikel Merino has added two, and Lamine Yamal continues to be the most exciting player in world football. The 2-1 win over Belgium was their toughest test yet, and they passed it. Five players are on yellow cards \u2014 Cubars\u00ed, Laporte, Ferran Torres, Pedri, and \u00c1lex Baena \u2014 which will require careful management against a French side that can draw fouls in dangerous areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The defining tension is France’s attacking firepower against Spain’s defensive organisation. Mbapp\u00e9’s pace against Spain’s high defensive line is the key matchup \u2014 if Spain push up and Mbapp\u00e9 gets in behind, it could be a very long night. But Spain have answered every question asked of them. This is the game of the tournament.

Argentina vs England<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The other fixture writes itself. England vs Argentina, a World Cup semi-final, with everything that entails historically and emotionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Argentina are the only side in the tournament with a perfect record \u2014 six wins from six, Messi level with Mbapp\u00e9 on eight goals and showing no signs of slowing down. The 1-1 draw with Switzerland in the quarter-final, settled on penalties, was their toughest game yet and showed they can grind through adversity. Lautaro Mart\u00ednez has added two goals, and the squad depth is formidable. Crucially, their disciplinary record is clean \u2014 six players on yellow cards but none suspended, and no red cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

England’s journey to this point has been one of the tournament’s great stories. The 3-2 win at the Azteca over Mexico was the result that announced them as genuine contenders, and the 1-1 draw with Norway, won on penalties in the quarter-final, showed their mental fortitude. Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham are both on six goals \u2014 a dual attacking threat that no side has yet been able to fully contain. However, the disciplinary situation is deeply concerning: Declan Rice is suspended (two yellow cards) and Jarrod Quansah is suspended (red card) \u2014 losing their defensive midfielder and a centre-back for a World Cup semi-final is a massive handicap. Bellingham, Gu\u00e9hi, O’Reilly, and Henderson are all on yellow cards too, meaning England must navigate this game with one eye on the card count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The absence of Rice in particular is enormous. He has been England’s defensive anchor throughout the tournament, and without him Argentina’s midfield \u2014 Mac Allister, Fern\u00e1ndez, Almada \u2014 will have far more freedom to dictate. Argentina’s experience of winning this tournament in 2022, combined with Messi’s relentless form and England’s suspension crisis, makes them narrow favourites. But Kane and Bellingham are capable of deciding any game on their own.
