Netherlands Women and France Women lock horns in their final Women’s Euro 2025<\/a> group stage match at St. Jakob Park in Basel Sunday 13th July at 8pm (UK time). Both sides will be hoping to secure passage through to the knockout rounds in a match that will be broadcast live in the UK on BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France have a three-point buffer at the top of Group D but they won\u2019t be taking their third match lightly and are likely to register a dominant victory over the Netherlands in Basel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With fourth-placed Wales struggling to compete, there has been very little room for error for the other three teams in the section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even France have to be a little bit careful because they are potentially one dreadful performance away from a swift flight home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France head coach Laurent Bonadei made seven changes for Wednesday\u2019s 4-1 victory over Wales but is expected to lean heavily on his first choice players in an effort to wrap up top spot in the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A draw would suffice for the French to hold onto first place, but they will play for victory and should be far too strong for a Dutch side which has not had much time to recover from their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dutch were utterly outclassed by the Lionesses, who dominated from the first whistle and won the shot count 17 to four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They face arguably an even tougher task against the French and may struggle to avoid another heavy defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France are set to return to a largely first choice line up with Marie-Antoinette Katoto expected to spearhead a three-pronged attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katoto\u2019s clever movement was on show when she tapped home the opening goal against England, taking her international tally to 39.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 26-year-old is one of the most talented players in the world and looks an obvious contender to start the scoring on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n
