Newcastle United<\/a> can make it 10 wins on the spin on Saturday but face a tough task against Eddie Howe’s former club, a dangerous Bournemouth<\/a> side who are excelling under boss Andoni Iraola.<\/h4>\n

The Premier League<\/a> game at St James’ Park has been selected for TV coverage as the 12.30pm GMT kick-off and will be shown live on TNT Sports.<\/p>\n

Newcastle have no new injury worries for this game, though Fabian Schar has been struggling with illness after the centre-back missed the 3-0 win over Wolves, with Botman selected instead.<\/p>\n

However, with Botman performing well since making his long-awaited return to the lineup, it might be hard to dislodge him – especially with the Magpies is such strong form.<\/p>\n

Newcastle’s No.1 goalkeeper Nick Pope has been out since the middle of December and is expected to return later this month, but this game should come too soon for him – with Martin Dubravka continuing to deputise.<\/p>\n

Otherwise Howe is expected to go unchanged for this game. With his team producing some excellent displays, he’ll be reluctant to tweak the formula too much.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth, meanwhile, are down to the bare bones and are performing admirably despite having only 12 fit players available to them. They suffered a big blow in losing Brazilian striker Evanilson, who has fractured his foot and will be out until at least April.<\/p>\n

Marco Senesi and Julian Araujo have had to undergo surgery and will be out for a while, too. The Cherries will have to wait until at least February to get Marcus Tavernier, Alex Scott and Luis Sinisterra back.<\/p>\n

James Hill has become the latest to join the treatment room after pulling a hamstring in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea. This means Lewis Cook may have to fill in at right-back, with Ryan Christie dropping into midfield and Justin Kluivert coming into the forward line.<\/p>\n

The good news for Bournemouth is that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to return to face Newcastle after missing the Chelsea game, with the Spaniard unable to play against his parent club.<\/p>\n

Newcastle looking to make history<\/h4>\n

Eddie Howe’s men are hoping to rack up ten wins in a row for the first time in their entire history on Saturday. The club have won six straight games in the Premier League but their storming run extends through cup wins over Brentford, Arsenal and Bromley.<\/p>\n

Newcastle have been one of the most consistent teams in the Premier League in recent weeks, with only Nottingham Forest able to rival them on form. Across the six Premier League games they’ve won in a row, they’ve scored 18 times and conceded only once, which was in a 2-1 win away at Tottenham.<\/p>\n

However, Bournemouth are a tough opponent despite all their fitness woes – they haven’t lost a game since a 2-1 defeat to Brighton on November 23.<\/p>\n

And it appears Howe’s old side might have a hold on him ahead of this game. Howe – who took Bournemouth from League Two to the Premier League – has never beaten the Cherries in five games as Magpies manager (D4 L1).<\/p>\n
