first leg at the Emirates Stadium, with Isak scoring in the first half and Anthony Gordon netting after the break to take a 2-0 win away from North London. That&#8217;s despite Arsenal controlling 70% possession and outshooting the Magpies 23-7, to the tune of 3.22 to 1.22 in the xG stakes.<\/p>\n<p>Things haven&#8217;t improved much for Arsenal since that result, with the Gunners exiting the FA Cup on penalties to Man Utd and throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/bet\/football-tips\/premier-league\/\">Premier League<\/a> against Aston Villa, though they did win the North London derby between those results. They&#8217;ve won their last four matches though, including a 5-1 thrashing of Man City in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>Newcastle continued their great run immediately after beating Arsenal, seeing off Bromley 3-1 in the FA Cup and Wolves 3-0 in the Premier League. However, they came back down to earth with a bang, enduring a 4-1 thrashing at home to Bournemouth that included two goals in second-half stoppage time for the Cherries. A victory over Southampton wasn&#8217;t backed up with a defeat by Fulham following that result, leaving Newcastle outside of the Champions League places on goals scored.<\/p>\n<h3>Newcastle team news<\/h3>\n<p>Newcastle could have Callum Wilson and Joelinton in contention with both recovering from knocks but Jamaal Lascelles and Harvey Barnes will both be unavailable.<\/p>\n<h3>Arsenal team news<\/h3>\n<p>There are fears over the long-term fitness of Bukayo Saka and he won&#8217;t feature here. Gabriel Jesus is also out of for the season, while Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu will be also be absent.<\/p>\n<h3>Newcastle vs Arsenal head-to-head<\/h3>\n<p>The 2-0 win in the first leg was Newcastle&#8217;s second against Arsenal this season and they&#8217;re yet to concede a goal to the Gunners this campaign.
