Wolves\u2019 run of eight home matches without defeat came to an end when they were beaten 4-3 by Manchester United in their last Molineux league outing and will be looking to build on their impressive 4-2 win at Chelsea on Sunday with a victory over Brentford.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bees head to the Midlands having lost their last five league games on the road and will be mindful that there is a danger they could slip into the battle at the bottom of the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

Much like his compatriot Richarlison at Tottenham, Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha is starting to showcase his considerable talent after a slow start to this Premier League season.<\/p>\n

The Wolves man started his current hot streak in front of goal with the second in Wolves 3-0 win over Everton in their final game of 2023, and that’s since been followed up with further strikes against Brentford and West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup.<\/p>\n

But Cunha’s best display, not just of his season but potentially his career, came in last week’s 2-4 demolition of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and it was a day to remember for the 24 year old, as he told the club’s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has spoken about turning Cunha into more of a consistent goal threat this season and after that scintillating display in West London last week, he’ll be out to add more goals to his tally during this Saturday’s visit of Brentford.<\/p>\n

    Wolves duo Boubacar Traore and Hee-chan Hwang have returned from international duty to give manager Gary O\u2019Neil some options, but the former Bournemouth boss may elect to keep faith with the team who won so impressively at Stamford Bridge.<\/span><\/p>\n
