Mesut Ozil has heaped praise on Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka after his match-winning brace in Sunday’s 3-2 Premier League win over Liverpool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The England international was heavily involved in all three of Arsenal’s goals as Mikel Arteta’s men stunned the travelling Merseysiders to leapfrog Manchester City back into first.<\/p>\n

He provided the pre-assist for Martin Odegaard’s through ball to Gabriel Martinelli, before scoring on the stroke of half-time with a far-post finish, and then tucking home confidently from the penalty spot.<\/p>\n

    That result ensured the Gunners reclaimed first in the Premier League as the early pace-setters, having conceded their position to reigning champions Manchester City the day prior, who emphatically dispatched Southampton 4-0.<\/p>\n

    Saka’s two goals at the Emirates on Sunday means he is now Arsenal’s second-most productive player in the Premier League in 2022\/23. He has been directly involved in seven goals (three goals, four assists), with only Gabriel Jesus (eight — five goals, three assists) having a hand in <\/a>more.<\/p>\n
