Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is backing compatriot Casemiro to be a success at Manchester United after he completed a \u00a360m move from European champions Real Madrid<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 30-year-old, who is United’s latest signing under Erik ten Hag’s leadership, subsequently became the second most expensive over-30 player in history. Only future United — and former Los Blancos<\/em> — teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has transferred for a bigger fee when he returned to Old Trafford from Juventus last summer.<\/p>\n\n

Having won three La Liga crowns and five European Cup titles the native of S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos has opted for a new challenge in England and Fabinho, who briefly spent time with Casemiro in the Spanish capital, feels he would do well in his new surroundings.<\/p>\n
