He continued with the team in the Nations League in June and has helped Denmark lead Group A1 after four games, ahead of Croatia, Austria and France.<\/p>\n<p>With Denmark&#8217;s international window over, Eriksen is set to go on holiday and will undoubtedly want to clear his mind of anything football-related for a few weeks. But there still remains the question of his future, with the Dane initially signing a six-month deal with Brentford.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Eriksen has turned down a new contract at Brentford and is being linked with a return to Tottenham Hotspur &#8211; 18 months after leaving them for Inter Milan.<\/p>\n<p>And while some players refuse to get involved in transfer rumours despite having already made their decision, it appears Eriksen is yet to make up his mind.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don\u2019t know why it\u2019s hard to make a decision,&#8221; he told Danish publication <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bt.dk\/fodbold\/eriksen-om-sin-fodboldfremtid-jeg-ved-ikke-hvorfor-man-ikke-kan-traeffe-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Maybe because you need that last thing in order to find out what you want. It\u2019s really hard to say what the outcome will be.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sometimes it can happen fast, other times it\u2019s slow. You are not always a master of your own faith.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It also depends what the possibilities are in terms of clubs. And then you have to make a decision from that.
