Roma immortal Francesco Totti says he hopes to “convince” Paulo Dybala to join his beloved club this summer after the Argentine confirmed his departure from Juventus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 28-year-old received a standing ovation on Monday night in Juve’s final home game of the season as he came off in the 78th minute for Martin Palumbo, marking his last appearance in Turin wearing Bianconeri <\/i>colours.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Last weekend Dybala confirmed<\/a> on social media that he will call time on his Juventus career at the end of the campaign upon the expiration of his contract, seven years after he joined as one of the hottest prospects in world football from Palermo.<\/p>\n\n

There are expected to be no shortage of suitors for Dybala once his current deal in Turin comes to an end, with a host of Europe’s leading lights reportedly keeping tabs on the soon-to-be free agent — and Totti appears intent on throwing Roma’s hat into the ring.<\/p>\n

The one-club legend is set to play alongside Dybala in a charity match put together by former Inter forward Samuel Eto’o at the San Siro next week, and he says he will be looking to sway the Argentine when they rubs shoulders in Milan.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We’ll see if we can bring him to Rome,” Totti told Sky Italia<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>when quizzed on Roma’s chances of signing Dybala. “I’ll meet him on Monday and I hope to convince him.<\/p>\n
