Rio Ferdinand has endorsed Mohamed Salah for the Premier League’s Player of the Season award, which would place him in esteemed company as one of only a handful of multiple winners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Egyptian sealed the end-of-season gong in 2017\/18 after a sensational return to the Premier League in which he netted 32 games across 36 matches for Liverpool, and Ferdinand believes this campaign is worthy of collecting another accolade.<\/p>\n\n

Jurgen Klopp’s men are in with a genuine shot of completing an unprecedented quadruple season, and Salah has been the catalyst in that drive. They remain hot on Manchester City’s heels in the Premier League title race, but there would be no photo-finish were it not for the Egyptian.<\/p>\n
