Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has signed a new deal with the club that will keep him at Anfield for four more years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The German coach has penned fresh terms that will pacify immediate concerns at Anfield, with his previous deal running until 2024.<\/p>\n

Many were expecting Klopp to take a sabbatical upon the conclusion of the 2023\/24 season, and the Liverpool boss even intimated that point as recently as March.<\/p>\n

When asked about staying beyond 2024 last month, Klopp responded: “If I have the energy levels for it. That is important. I love what I do but I\u2019ve said a couple of times there must be something else out there in the world.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Given the recent form of Liverpool and the potential of an unprecedented quadruple season, Klopp has now made a U-turn on his original decision. The Reds have already secured the League Cup and remain firmly in the Premier League title race, through to the FA Cup final and have one foot in the Champions League final.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There are so many words I could use to describe how I am feeling about this news\u2026 delighted, humbled, blessed, privileged and excited would be a start,” Klopp told the club’s official website<\/a> on signing his new deal.<\/p>\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
