Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha believes Zinedine Zidane would be a \u201cperfect fit\u201d for the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ralf Rangnick is currently interim manager but he is expected to step down at the end of the season and take up a consultancy role behind the scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The German was drafted in following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of November, but hasn’t made the most convincing of starts.<\/p>\n

Draws with Aston Villa and Newcastle, as well as a defeat to Wolves have put the early pressure on Rangnick, but he has responded in recent games.<\/span><\/p>\n

A 1-0 win over West Ham at the weekend has moved the Red Devils back into the Premier League top four, leapfrogging the Hammers in the process.<\/p>\n

    Still in the Champions League, Saha believes that no matter what happens this season, the makers and shakers at Old Trafford should move for Zidane in the summer.<\/p>\n

    “I think Zidane would be the perfect fit. Maybe Manchester United need to become more of an attractive proposition to get him \u2013 I don\u2019t know. For me, Zidane is the best candidate,” Saha told\u00a0<\/span>Genting Casino<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

    “As a manager, he would improve the confidence of some players. Look at what Zidane has won, not just as a player, but in management.<\/p>\n

    “He has also has a history of developing young players and brought some to a level they never expected.<\/p>\n\n

    “I really like his profile and I think that he would do amazing things there.”<\/p>\n

    Although Saha has lavished praise on his compatriot, he does believe the language barrier could be an obstacle when it comes to Zidane considering the position.<\/p>\n

    He continued: “Maybe that is one aspect because he\u2019s not well-known as a great communicator in English, but he knows that.<\/p>\n

    “As I said, communication is so important for any manager so the players can understand his tactics and his philosophy.<\/p>\n
