Best players, roles and tactics explained using Football Manager | FM22\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5I8tOr0BMOM?start=98&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Kane, by contrast, has endured a torrid start to the season, though Spurs themselves experienced a change in the dugout, with Antonio Conte succeeding Nuno Espirito Santo. The England international has found the back of the net just once in the Premier League in 2021\/22.<\/p>\n<p>The current Golden Boot holder actually has eight goals for the season, but six of those have come in the inaugural Europa Conference League, scoring four times against Mura, twice in the play-offs to Pacos Ferreira and one more goal in the League Cup against Wolves.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Ronaldo&#8217;s formidable scoring record across his career, Sheringham says he would snub football&#8217;s most capped international in favour of Kane, simply because of the latter&#8217;s work rate, believing he would be a better strike partner.<\/p>\n<p>When posed the question &#8216;Kane or Ronaldo?&#8217; Sheringham told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football.london\/tottenham-hotspur-fc\/players\/harry-kane-cristiano-ronaldo-sheringham-22448405\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Football.London<\/a><\/em>: &#8220;Tough one but Harry Kane.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just think he does things for the team. He works for the team.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;I know he scores his goals and he&#8217;s very selfish at times but you have to be like that as a centre forward but you know what you&#8217;re going to get from him, week in, week out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe leads the line for the team as well.
