It’s time for another Double Gameweek as Manchester City, Everton, Burnley and Fulham all prepare to play twice over a five-day period.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re weighing up using your Wildcard, Free Hit, or simply want to take a punt on one or two of our suggestions, we\u2019ve pulled together a full 15-man squad of players you should be considering for Double Gameweek 24. Our captaincy suggestion this week is Ilkay Gundogan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Opta\u2019s stats power the FPL game and help steer the Sky Bet market so what better way to figure out how to build your squad this week? Be warned, Saturday\u2019s deadline is at 11:00 ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Leicester (12:30 kick-off).<\/p>\n

\"FPL<\/p>\n

Ederson:<\/strong> It’s so difficult to predict who will fall victim to Pep Guardiola’s defensive rotation so Ederson is your safest bet for City clean sheet points. They host Spurs and visit Everton in Double Gameweek 24 having conceded one goal in seven Premier League fixtures – and that was a contentious penalty at Anfield last time out. He has the most shutouts (13) of any goalkeeper in the league so far. City are 8\/1 to beat Spurs 3-0.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Sam Johnstone:<\/strong> A cheap back-up option. Johnstone has made more saves (93) than any goalkeeper in the league and while you won’t get many clean sheet points, he’s bound to clock up extras.<\/p>\n

Lucas Digne:<\/strong> The Toffees host Fulham and Man City in the coming Gameweek so it’s definitely worth dining out on your Everton players quota. Carol Ancelotti’s side certainly don’t have the tightest defence in the League but Digne is capable of making things happen in the final third. He has seven FPL assists this season, while only Gylfi Sigurdsson and James Rodriguez have played more key passes in the Everton side. Everton to keep a clean sheet against Fulham is 6\/4.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Ben Mee:<\/strong> Burnley have a fairly decent double header with a trip to Palace followed by the visit of Fulham. The Clarets have more clean sheets (7) than Liverpool this season and Mee is their top-scoring defender on FPL. He is also their second-top goalscorer (2) and has had more shots on target (5) than any of his defensive colleagues this term. He’s your man if Burnley are going to deliver attacking returns from defence. Mee to score a header is a price boost 16\/1.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Luke Shaw:<\/strong> Manchester United visit West Brom this weekend so you should be looking at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s back line. A clean sheet isn’t necessarily a cert but Shaw will also offer a threat going forward. He has three assists in his last two matches and has played more key passes (7) than any of the United defenders this season.<\/p>\n

\"Luke<\/p>\n

Ruben Dias:<\/strong> Another who you can bank on being named in the XI. Dias has started every Premier League match since October 3, with only Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan racking up more FPL points at City. He’s had 10 shots on goal and has an xG of 1.6, so it is surely only a matter of time before he breaks his duck in the final third. Certainly one to consider for the armband. Dias is 10\/1 to score any time against Spurs.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Aaron Cresswell:<\/strong> Only Lucas Digne has more assists than Cresswell from defence this season. The West Ham defender goes into an appetising fixture against Sheffield United, who have one of the worst attacks in the league. He is also the highest-scoring defender on FPL this season (106) with eight clean sheets and 14 bonus points since the start of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka:<\/strong> Leeds have one of the worst defences in the Premier League and visit an Arsenal side who are unbeaten at home in five matches. Saka has had more shots (45) and created more chances (26) than anyone in the Gunners squad since September, while only Alexandre Lacazette has more goals. Saka to score from outside the box against Leeds is 15\/2.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Tomas Soucek:<\/strong> The West Ham man is available after his red card at Fulham was overturned on appeal. With eight goals and one assist, no Hammers player has more FPL points than Soucek this season. He is also the highest-scoring non-penalty taker in the Premier League and will fancy his chances against Basement club Sheffield United.<\/p>\n

James Rodriguez:<\/strong> The Colombian is your man for Everton’s Double Gameweek. He is the top-scoring Toffees midfielder on FPL with five goals and three assists in his debut campaign so far. Only Dominic Calvert-Lewin averages more shots on target per 90 minutes than James, with relegation-threatened Fulham at home first up before the bonus of a trip to City in midweek. James is 9\/5 to score any time against Fulham.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Ilkay Gundogan:<\/strong> Give Ilkay the armband. Gundogan has now scored eight or more FPL points in seven of the last 10 Gameweeks. Two goals and a 13-point haul against Liverpool mean he is now one of only two City players with more than 100 FPL points this season – and still available at a bargain 6.0. However, it remains to be seen whether he retains penalty duties after skying a spot-kick at Anfield. Gundogan is 9\/2 to score first against Spurs.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes:<\/strong> Only Leicester have scored more penalties than Manchester United this season, with Fernandes dispatching six from the spot. He averages 9 FPL points per match across the last three Gameweeks and faces the leakiest defence in the Premier League at The Hawthorns on Sunday. He leads the Premier League for shots (78) and big chances created (16). Fernandes is a price boost 11\/2 to score from outside the box at West Brom.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Edinson Cavani:<\/strong> We would have suggested Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Everton’s DGW, but the England man is out of the Fulham game and pushing to return against City in midweek. Burnley’s Chris Wood is another who is unlikely to play both fixtures, so we advise a punt on Cavani. He should be fresh after playing just four minutes in the FA Cup win over West Ham in midweek and has three goals in his last five Premier League appearances. Cavani averages more goals per 90 than anyone in the United team this season. He’s a price boost 8\/1 to score a header at West Brom<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Patrick Bamford:<\/strong> If you’re playing your wildcard, you should be looking at Patrick Bamford with an eye on the coming fixtures. Leeds visit Wolves and host Southampton in Double Gameweek 25 and Bamford is a no-brainer. His 12 goals, eight assists and 16 bonus points make him one of the leading performers in FPL this season. If you want a Leeds player in your team for the double header, he’s the standout option. Bamford to open the scoring at Arsenal is 5\/1.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Danny Ings:<\/strong> Southampton are in a bit of a rut but a kind fixture list could be just the tonic. Wolves have conceded the opening goal in 11 of their last 13 (drawing both other games 0-0) and Ings is bound to pose some problems for their defence. No Saints player has taken more shots (36) or scored more goals (7) than Ings, while Saints also have a double header (Gameweek 25)<\/span> on the horizon. Ings to score a brace against Wolves is a price boost 10\/1.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Who’s it time to get rid of\/avoid?<\/h2>\n

Callum Wilson:<\/strong> Newcastle struggle to score at the best of times and fixtures against Chelsea then Manchester United won’t help.<\/p>\n

Toby Alderweireld:<\/strong> He averages just 1.3 FPL points per game over the last 30 days.<\/p>\n

Chris Wood:<\/strong> Limped out of the defeat to Chelsea and still looks a big doubt for the forthcoming Double Gameweek.<\/p>\n
