Tottenham are being linked with a double swoop as the January Transfer Window<\/a> continues to gather momentum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jose Mourinho is reportedly targeting a winger and a centre-back while Valencia are being linked with a loan move for Harry Winks by Football London.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Dayot Upamecano looks poised to make a January move as Bayern target the Frenchman as a replacement for David Alalba.<\/p>\n

Tottenham<\/a> have reportedly joined Leeds and Juventus in the hunt for Stuttgart winger Nicolas Gonzalez.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old grabbed a goal and an assist in Stuttgart’s win over Augsburg on Sunday. Gonzales, who has five goals this term, is contracted until 2024 with the Bundesliga club.<\/p>\n

The report claims Stuttgart will hold out for a fee in the region of \u20ac30million. Spurs are said to have held preliminary talks but face competition from Juventus and Leeds.<\/p>\n

Liverpool unlikley to buy big<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Liverpool<\/a> boss Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to spend big reinforcing his wounded squad this January, according to Fabrizio Romano.<\/p>\n

Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are all out injured but it will only take a “good opportunity” in the coming weeks to force Klopp into the market before the February 2 deadline.<\/p>\n

“I think that Jurgen Klopp has been so honest when he speaks about the market. Not all managers are honest about transfers, but Jurgen Klopp was honest,” Romano told Sky Sports News.<\/p>\n

“They are looking for opportunities. If something arrives, they will be ready to sign a new player but spending \u20ac60m-\u20ac70m for players like [Dayot Upamecano] or this kind of centre-back is absolutely impossible in this window for Liverpool.”<\/p>\n

Marca claims Bayern are poised to trigger Upamecano’s \u00a340million release clause this month.<\/p>\n

The Bundesliga champions are set to lose David Alaba on a free transfer in the summer and Hansi Flick is keen to get a replacement through the door.<\/p>\n
