Leeds United remain linked with Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul – but much of their transfer business for 2021 may wait until the summer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Premier League newcomers were strongly linked with \u00a335m-rated De Paul at the start of the season, when it is claimed they missed out by a whisker.<\/p>\n

Reports state Marcelo Bielsa could now return for De Paul during the January Transfer Window<\/a> and the Argentina international sparked excitement among Leeds fans last week when he referenced “new challenges” in a post on social media.<\/p>\n

Leeds were also credited with an interest in Ben White, who spent the 2019\/20 campaign on loan at Elland Road, but were unable to prise him away from Brighton on a permanent basis following promotion to the top flight.<\/p>\n

\"BenSky Sports reported in August a final bid in the region of \u00a325million was rejected by Brighton before Leeds turned their attention to Robin Koch.<\/p>\n

White, 23, has been a regular for the Seagulls this term and it seems that ship might have sailed as far as a return to Leeds is concerned, with bigger clubs now said to be circling.<\/p>\n

De Paul is favourite to join Leeds (7\/1 to move to Elland Road this month<\/a>) while White (25\/1<\/a>) is an outsider to reunite with Bielsa and his squad.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, The Sun claims Leeds are preparing to open talks with Patrick Bamford over a new contract with a number of suitors said to be lurking. The former Chelsea striker has scored 10 goals in 17 league starts since returning to the Premier League with Leeds in September.<\/p>\n

The Whites are also reportedly keeping tabs on Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng, though Arsenal and Crystal Palace are also linked with the 26-year-old.<\/p>\n
