Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino is plotting a swoop with Christian Eriksen and Real Madrid’s contract talks with Sergio Ramos have stalled.<\/p>\n

That’s right,\u00a0 new Paris Saint-Germain boss Pochettino has reportedly set his sights on a reunion with former Tottenham man Eriksen.<\/p>\n

The Mail claims Eriksen would jump at the chance of a fresh start at the Parc des Princes after a difficult first year in Milan, where he has made just 12 Serie A starts since a \u00a317million move last January.<\/p>\n

The Mail report states Pochettino is also keen on Dele Alli but believes that transfer will be more difficult to negotiate.<\/p>\n

Alaba to Liverpool?<\/h2>\n

Liverpool have contacted David Alalaba’s representatives and are reportedly “pushing hard” to make a deal happen this summer.<\/p>\n

Jurgen Klopp would benefit from a defender joining this month<\/a> but he will have to wait to prise Alaba away from Bayern Munich.\u00a0 The Austrian’s Bayern contract expires in the summer and he has his heart set on a move away from the Allianz Stadium. Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in the 28-year-old, but face stern competition from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

The Guardian claims it is Alaba’s “dream” to play for Real while the possibility of Sergio Ramos departing on a free this summer would intensify their need to reinforce the defence.<\/p>\n

Sergio Ramos ‘contract talks stall’<\/h2>\n

Speaking of which, Marca claims\u00a0Ramos has rejected the latest contract offer put to him by Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ramos’ current deal expires at the end of the campaign and he has turned his nose up at a one-year extension on the same terms. His situation is sensitive amid reports there are no plans to continue discussions at this stage.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old is now free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs and both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the defender.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ozil ‘in talks’ with DC United<\/h2>\n

Frozen out Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is in negotiations with DC United over a January move, according to Football London.<\/p>\n

Ozil hasn’t featured for the Gunners since March and was dropped from Mikel Arteta’s Premier League squad in October after failing to secure a move away from north London last summer. The Germany international’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season but DC United are now in talks over a deal which would remove Ozil’s significant salary from the wage bill six months ahead of time.<\/p>\n

It comes amid reports Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Shkodran Mustafi are set to follow William Saliba and Sead Kolasinac (both loans) out of the door as Arteta paves the way for possible incomings later in the month.<\/a><\/p>\n

Man City ‘frustrate De Bruyne with Messi plan’<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Manchester City have reportedly frustrated Kevin De Bruyne by offering the Belgium international reduced terms.<\/p>\n

The Athletic claims City proposed a five-year deal on a lower basic wage in a bid to free up funds for a potential move for Lionel Messi.<\/p>\n
