Martinelli would then be guided by Freddie Ljungberg &#8211; albeit temporarily.<\/p>\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t take long for the north London club to hire a long-term successor with former club captain Arteta joining from Manchester City where he served as Pep Guardiola&#8217;s right-hand man.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s yet to fully turn Arsenal around, but there are positive signs as Arsenal won their last three Premier League games before the league was halted as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Arteta himself contracted the virus but is now fully recovered.
