Chelsea paid Antonio Conte \u00a326.6m after relieving him of his managerial duties in 2018, it has been revealed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 50-year-old Italian tactician spent two seasons at Stamford Bridge in which he guided the Blues to Premier League.<\/p>\n

    However, results would take a turn for the worse and despite winning the 2018 FA Cup \u2013 against Manchester United led by Jose Mourinho \u2013 both parties went their separate ways.<\/p>\n

    Conte would go on a self-imposed sabbatical whilst his former club hired Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri though his tenure lasted a year before he returned to Italy with Juventus.<\/p>\n

    Given that Conte signed a two-year contract extension in 2017, he was entitled to a substantial amount in compensation after being dismissed from west London which has now been revealed to be just over \u00a326m.<\/p>\n
