Five things to know&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Xhaka hasn&#8217;t played for Arsenal since clashing with fans against Crystal Palace last month.<\/li>\n<li>But he represented Swizterland twice during the international break, scoring in his last match against Gibraltar.<\/li>\n<li>The incident against Palace has thrown his position at the club into doubt.<\/li>\n<li>Newcastle and AC Milan are now being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football.london\/arsenal-fc\/transfer-news\/xhaka-transfer-latest-newcastle-loan-17229380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">linked<\/a> with his signature.<\/li>\n<li>Emery says Xhaka will return to action soon but didn&#8217;t clarify his long-term future at Arsenal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-color: transparent; display: block; padding: 0; max-width: 700px;\" title=\"Audioboom player\" src=\"https:\/\/embeds.audioboom.com\/posts\/7430941\/embed\/v4?image_option=full\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The midfielder hasn&#8217;t featured for the club since, has been stripped of his captaincy role and released a statement after the event outlining the abuse he and his family have suffered from fans on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, Xhaka&#8217;s long-term future at the club has been cast into doubt and the likes of Newcastle United and AC Milan are now being linked with the 27-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>And while Emery has backed Xhaka to return to his side soon, the Spaniard stopped short of confirming whether his future at the Emirates was short-term or long-term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s coming back better.
