England are gearing up for their Uefa Euro 2020 qualifiers against Montenegro and Kosovo this week with another squad packed full of quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Usual suspects Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling are in there, although the less said about the latter right now, the better.<\/p>\n

And, of course, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane will lead the line upfront, being joined in the squad by club teammates Danny Rose and Harry Winks, as well as ex-Spurs right-back Kieran Trippier.<\/p>\n

Back in the day, Manchester United dominated the England squad with the likes of David Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Andy Cole and Wes Brown all donning the Three Lions jersey at one point or another but they have just two players in Gareth Southgate’s current squad.<\/p>\n

Throughout their history, though, Spurs have always offered a supply line to the England squad and it might come as a surprise that Lilywhites have now served up 78 players to the Three Lions \u2013 at least four more than any other club.<\/p>\n

From Paul Gascoigne to Chris Waddle, Spurs have seen some truly brilliant English talents take to the international stage, while the 2018 World Cup squad alone had no fewer than five representatives from the north London side.<\/p>\n

Dele Alli has missed out this time but is likely to make a swift return to Southgate’s plans if he continues his improved form, while youngsters Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp have been making waves at youth level and could easily force their way into the senior reckoning in years to come, moving Spurs even further ahead in this impressive list.<\/p>\n
