Jamie Redknapp has labelled Chelsea a “joy to watch” under Frank Lampard and believes the good football they are playing is becoming infectious.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blues ran out 2-1 winners at Watford which meant they registered a fifth consecutive Premier League win as well as a seventh on the road in all competitions.<\/p>\n

    Tammy Abraham, who bagged goal number nine, and Christian Pulisic were on the scoresheet with the result leaving the Blues on 23 points after 11 matches played, with only Manchester City (25) and Liverpool (31) ahead of them in the table.<\/p>\n

    After a tentative start under Lampard, who enjoyed an illustrious playing career at Stamford Bridge before returning as manager in the summer, the 41-year-old has got the west London club playing an exciting brand of football.<\/p>\n

    What has made this even more impressive is the situation the club found themselves in heading into the 2019\/20 season. Chelsea were handed a transfer embargo, which is now widely being referred to as a blessing in disguise as Lampard has been able to bed in youngsters who may have otherwise been overlooked.<\/p>\n
