Five things to know&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Milner joined Liverpool from Manchester City on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.<\/li>\n<li>His contract expires at the end of the current season.<\/li>\n<li>The midfielder is 33 but says he feels as fit as he did six years ago.<\/li>\n<li>And he hopes the club will &#8220;sort something out&#8221; in terms of extending his contract.<\/li>\n<li>Milner has made 190 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, scoring 24 goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-color: transparent; display: block; padding: 0; max-width: 700px;\" title=\"Audioboom player\" src=\"https:\/\/embeds.audioboom.com\/posts\/7405357\/embed\/v4\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Approaching the age at which most players begin to consider retirement, Milner claims to feel as fit as he did six years ago.<\/p>\n<p>And the former England international says his drive to keep playing at the &#8220;highest level&#8221; will hopefully keep him at Liverpool beyond next summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone said to me, a few years back, that I\u2019m going to have to rein it in in training, and look after myself a bit. I still feel very good and no different to what I did six years ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My contract with Liverpool is up at the end of the season but hopefully we\u2019ll sort something out.
