Liverpool kept their unbeaten start to the Premier League season intact thanks to a late Adam Lallana equaliser against Manchester United on Sunday.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been ruthless domestically so far in 2019\/20 and before their trip to Old Trafford, had won all eight of their Premier League games this season.<\/p>\n

That winning run has now ended but it could have been much worse for the Reds had Lallana not cancelled out Marcus Rashford’s opener to make it 1-1 late on.<\/p>\n

Liverpool now sit six points clear of Manchester City atop the Premier League table and can be happy with their salvaged point, but once the dust settles, Klopp may well spend some time mulling over yet another game without a win at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Moreover, for all of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s struggles with Man United recently, that’s now two games and two draws against Klopp since he took the wheel in December, making him the only manager to face the German more than once in England’s top flight and remain unbeaten.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Solskjaer will be pleased to have seen a much-improved performance from the likes of Rashford and Daniel James, even if he will surely be ruing his team’s inability to hold out for just a few minutes longer.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils will need to recover from that disappointment quickly and take the momentum of their performance into their Europa League clash with Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Liverpool, meanwhile, travel to Belgium to face Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday night before hosting Tottenham on Sunday.<\/p>\n
