    With Manchester United struggling, the urge to sign a dynamic midfielder will be cranking up and McGinn could be the perfect target.<\/p>\n

    The 24-year-old’s performances have attracted much acclaim and Jenks thinks this will not have escaped the attention of the Red Devils or their former boss.<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe\u2019s up there with the best-performing midfielders in the division,”he told The Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    The Scottish midfielder has all the qualities to play for a club with the expectation level of United according to Jenks. McGinn’s will to win is what keeps him improving and this could see him play at an even better level than he is currently doing.<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe wanted to win and knew that he had to work hard to do so,” Jenks added.<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe was a typical Scottish boy with the heart of a lion. I noticed that from a young age.<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe was a box-to-box player who could win the ball, fire it up to the striker and support him.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI felt he could add goals to his game and was dangerous around the edge of the box. He\u2019s showing that now.<\/p>\n

    \u201cHe has a great engine and attitude. Yes, he got a wee bit agitated and would nip in every now and then.\u00a0He picked up some bookings but that\u2019s just his style. He wants to win the ball back and does it so well.<\/p>\n

    \u201cVilla needed someone like him. They didn\u2019t have any player quite like him.\u00a0Last season he put himself about in the Championship to show what he was made of and I\u2019m just pleased it\u2019s worked out for him and the club now.\u201d<\/p>\n
