Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has nominated club legend Steven Gerrard as his eventual successor in the Anfield dugout.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 52-year-old German tactician is currently enjoying a fourth consecutive full season on Merseyside having joined in October 2015.<\/p>\n

    Since his appointment, following Brendan Rodgers, he’s firmly established the Reds as a force in English football as well as winning the club’s sixth European Cup.<\/p>\n

    His present deal expires in June 2022 with supporters hopeful of an imminent contract extension but Klopp has made it known he’ll take it a season at a time.<\/p>\n

    One reason behind his immense popularity is how he’s fully embraced club culture and being supported by legends such as Kenny Dalglish has helped.<\/p>\n
