Five things to know&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Kante has missed Chelsea&#8217;s past two Premier League games.<\/li>\n<li>The Frenchman is suffering with an ankle injury picked up against Manchester United.<\/li>\n<li>Kante had also only recently returned from a knee injury which saw him miss most of Chelsea&#8217;s pre-season.<\/li>\n<li>As a result, Kante has been left out of France&#8217;s squad for the international break.<\/li>\n<li>And Lampard has revealed Kante should be fit to return for Chelsea&#8217;s game with Wolves on September 14.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"background-color: transparent; display: block; padding: 0; max-width: 700px;\" title=\"Audioboom player\" src=\"https:\/\/embeds.audioboom.com\/posts\/7354781-emery-must-resist-his-crystal-palace-tribute-act-to-punish-unsettled-spurs\/embed\/v4?image_option=full\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Lampard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/news\/chelsea-lampard-kante-france-squad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently called<\/a> for France manager Didier Deschamps to leave Kante out of his squad for the upcoming international break, a request which was granted.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Kante will now be able to rest and focus on regaining full match fitness. And Lampard is hopeful, if all goes well during the break, Kante should be able to return for the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on September 14.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m hoping N\u2019Golo will be back for Wolves,&#8221; he told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chelseafc.com\/en\/news\/2019\/08\/31\/franklampard-reacts-to-home-draw-with-support-for-defenders-and-?cardIndex=0-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reporters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The medical team have said to me that with no setbacks he should be, and that will be a big boost.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How Chelsea Have Lined Up Under Lampard! The Blues have been able to call upon Jorginho, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley among senior players so far, with teenager Billy Gilmour given a debut against Sheffield United.<\/p>\n<p>This led to some questions on why Chelsea allowed the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko to leave on loan. But Lampard defended the decision by emphasising the options he will soon have at his disposal.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cDanny has been here for two years and hadn\u2019t played many games.
