Former Chelsea winger\u00a0Pat Nevin believes\u00a0Tammy Abraham will “keep on getting bigger and stronger” in a Chelsea shirt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two-capped England international bagged a brace at the weekend, with his winning goal enough to edge Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road.<\/p>\n

    Victory in East Anglia took a massive weight off the shoulders of Frank Lampard, as the club’s record goalscorer registered a first competitive win in the Stamford Bridge dugout.<\/p>\n

    Prior to Norwich, Abraham had sat on the bench for two matches but justified his starting berth on Saturday with two goals, and\u00a0Nevin believes this is just the start of the 21-year-old’s true ability.<\/p>\n

    In his column on the club’s official website<\/a>, he wrote: “Tammy Abraham was the one more than any other coming from the Academy who I felt would have the very best chance of really making the grade with the club.<\/p>\n

    “From the age of 14 or 15 he has shown the right attitude, the eye for a goal and the willingness to take the knocks and get back up and get on with it.<\/p>\n

    “He also has that other thing, raw talent which can be worked on and moulded, especially with such an impressive physical structure to work with.<\/p>\n

    “He will just keep on getting bigger and stronger over the next few seasons and that is scary!”<\/p>\n
