Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that his current Tottenham squad is the most “unsettled” he has ever worked with.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lilywhites suffered an unexpected 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday after dominating the match but failing to breach Martin Dubravka’s net.<\/p>\n

    Defeat has already handed title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool a massive boost with just three games played in the new campaign, and led to further question marks over Christian Eriksen’s future.<\/p>\n

    The Denmark international was once again left on the bench for the match at the weekend, and\u00a0Pochettino has now claimed that there are certain problems he\u00a0“cannot fix” within his self-professed unsettled squad.<\/p>\n

    In a press conference after the match, he said<\/a>: “I think this is my sixth season and the most unsettled group we are working with.<\/p>\n

    “Some situations we cannot fix. Nothing to say about that, situations that are going on in the squad. Still we need to wait. I cannot find excuses because the transfer window is open.<\/p>\n

    “It doesn’t justify that performance today or the result. But we have an unsettled group for different reasons and different personal circumstances.<\/p>\n

    “Of course, I am going to be happier in 10 days after Arsenal when the transfer window is closed and we know we have the players until it opens again in January.”<\/p>\n
