West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski believes the club’s recent transfer activity will count for nothing if they cannot perform as a collective unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Despite\u00a0Manuel Pellegrini lavishly bolstering his ranks in recent windows, the east London club have underperformed in their opening two matches of the new season.<\/p>\n

    A 5-0 capitulation at the hands of Manchester City preceded a lacklustre 1-1 draw with Brighton at the weekend, and Fabianski believes the quality West Ham have invested in counts for nothing if they don’t back it up with performances.<\/p>\n

    “Quality-wise, we have a very decent team and squad,\u201d he told the club’s official website. “But it is about performances.<\/p>\n

    “You cannot only look at the names of the players in the team. You have to perform every single week. That is what we are going to be judged by. It is all about the performances.”<\/p>\n
