Patrice Evra has warned agents that they will never be able to take advantage of Manchester United in the transfer market.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Red Devils have paid huge sums for the likes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku in recent years, while they completed the signing of Harry Maguire on Monday for \u00a380m, a world-record fee for a defender.<\/p>\n

    Some have criticised the fees paid for the aforementioned players but Evra, who played 379 times for United during his playing days, has insisted the 20-time English champions only sign players who “respect the badge” and are in search of silverware.<\/p>\n

    “For all the football agents around the world, Manchester United will never be your bank account,” he said in an Instagram<\/a> post. “You come here because you respect the badge and die winning trophies.”<\/p>\n

    Some fans linked Evra’s post to the current situation regarding Paulo Dybala, with it looking increasingly unlikely that the Juventus star will make a move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
