Five key things to know\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>City won the Premier League title last season to successfully defend their crown.<\/li>\n<li>The club have signed three players over the summer.<\/li>\n<li>Rodri is the stand-out addition, joining from Atletico for \u00a362.8m.<\/li>\n<li>The Spaniard played in City\u2019s Community Shield win against Liverpool.<\/li>\n<li>De Bruyne described him as the &#8220;perfect fit&#8221; for the club.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>https:\/\/audioboom.com\/posts\/7330203-it-s-easy-to-get-backwards-but-liverpool-s-dependence-on-their-front-three-isn-t-a-weakness<\/p>\n<p>Manchester City have continued their progress this summer by signing the extremely talented Rodri from Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>The midfielder is the club\u2019s marquee addition of the window so far, joining the Citizens alongside Angelino from PSV and Goalkeeper Zack Steffan from Columbus Crew.<\/p>\n<p>De Bruyne has been very pleased with the transfer business conducted by the club this season and held special praise for Rodri.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe&#8217;s a perfect fit for us,\u201d he told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/sport\/football\/manchestercity\/kevin-de-bruyne-hails-man-citys-signing-of-rodri-after-harry-maguire-admission-a4206031.html\">Standard<\/a>. \u201cI think the way that we did transfers the last years adds up. You see a lot of young talent coming in willing to play our style. Our defensive midfield is a really difficult position.\u00a0You need certain players for it and there&#8217;s not a lot of people who can do both sides of it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Obviously we&#8217;re very good on the ball. You can&#8217;t just be defensive, you have to be offensive also. I think the way he&#8217;s performed in pre-season and in training has been phenomenal. You don&#8217;t know. Maybe we need 102 points to win. I cannot predict that.
