Wilfried Zaha’s former manager Ian Holloway insists the Crystal Palace forward is better than Arsenal’s new record signing Nicolas Pepe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Gunners completed a \u00a372m move for Pepe on Thursday<\/a> after being linked with Zaha for most of the summer, all but ending the chances of a deal for Palace’s talisman.<\/p>\n

    Holloway coached Zaha between 2012-2013 during the pair’s time together at Palace. Zaha helped the Eagles reach the Premier League via the Championship play-offs before joining Manchester United.<\/p>\n

    The Ivory Coast international didn’t make any Champions League appearances for United, something Holloway believes he is capable of.<\/p>\n

    “I am very surprised that Arsenal rate Nicolas Pepe better than Wilfried Zaha,” Holloway told Goal<\/a>.<\/p>\n
