Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak believes he is yet to reach his “highest level” and insists there is more to come from him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Slovenian stopper has firmly established himself as one of the world’s best goalkeepers since joining Atletico Madrid in 2014, winning a number of individual honours, as well as the 2017\/18 Europa League title.<\/p>\n

    Oblak, who has been a reported target of Man Utd<\/a> in recent years, also kept the highest number of clean sheets (20) of any La Liga goalkeeper last season, but still he believes his best form is yet to come.<\/p>\n

    \u201cBeing called the world\u2019s best? It is an important complement,” he told Marca<\/a>. “You work a lifetime for that. It’s good, and it shows that you are on the right path.<\/p>\n

    \u201cEach person has their favourite player but the more people say it the better way you will be. It is not necessary to think too much about it or worry about it.<\/p>\n

    \u201cEvery day is a new chance to improve. I’m not at the highest level yet. I can improve. With that, I am sure that collective titles also arrive, which is the important thing. Surely with everyone’s help, we can get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
