Zenit Saint Petersburg have confirmed they are in talks with Barcelona over the signing of Brazilian winger Malcom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Russian club’s president, Alexander Medvedev, has suggested negotiations are progressing but Zenit are seemingly unwilling to meet Barcelona’s \u00a336m asking price.<\/p>\n

    Malcom endured a difficult first season at Barcelona, making just 15 La Liga appearances and scoring four goals across all competitions.<\/p>\n

    The 22-year-old has four more years remaining on his contract with the Spanish champions, but Medvedev has told Russian online newspaper Fontanka<\/a>\u00a0that Zenit could sign him in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
