Real Betis have secured the signature of Lyon forward Nabil Fekir for a fee\u00a0reportedly in the region of\u00a0\u20ac20m (\u00a318m).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 26-year-old has relocated to the\u00a0Benito Villamarin Stadium after eight years on the books of\u00a0Les Gones.<\/p>\n

    The France international becomes\u00a0Los Verdiblancos’ fifth summer signing, and will join the likes of\u00a0Giovani Lo Celso,\u00a0Juanmi,\u00a0Alfonso Pedraza and\u00a0Dani Martin in Andalusia.<\/p>\n

    With just one year remaining on his Lyon contract, Les Gones sought to offload their playmaker this window through fear of losing him on a free transfer this time next summer.<\/p>\n

    It was confirmed<\/a> last month by club president Jean-Michel Aulas that Fekir was seeking a\u00a0Groupama Stadium exit after six highly successful years in the Lyon senior squad.<\/p>\n

    He leaves his homeland having made 193 appearances for Lyon, and spoke of his excitement at the prospect of a new adventure in La Liga.<\/p>\n
