Sevilla are set to complete their ninth signing of the summer with the acquisition of Porto central midfielder\u00a0Oliver Torres.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 24-year-old arrived in Seville on Sunday night and is set to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of a\u00a0\u20ac12m switch.<\/p>\n

    Having previously working under current\u00a0Sevillistas manager Julen Lopetegui during the duo’s time together at the Estadio do Dragao, Torres will know what to expect in Andalusia.<\/p>\n

    The ex-Real Madrid manager initially signed the playmaker on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid in 2014, where he went on to register 40 appearances across all competitions that campaign.<\/p>\n

    Torres made his loan move permanent in 2017 after Porto parted with \u20ac20m for his services, and he has since lifted a Primeira Liga title and won the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira in 2018.<\/p>\n

    As part of his switch to Sevilla, Atletico Madrid will reportedly<\/a> receive around \u20ac2m as per a\u00a015% future sale clause inserted in his contract by Atleti two years ago.\u00a0<\/span>That means Porto are set to be remunerated by half the fee from which they\u00a0originally paid for Torres’ services.<\/p>\n
