David Neres has committed his future to Ajax amid speculation linking him with a move away from the Eredivisie champions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old forward recently participated at the 2019 Copa America in which he ultimately lifted Brazil’s ninth title.<\/p>\n

He went into this summer’s championship on the back off a successful year with the Amsterdammers, having played an instrumental role in their double-winning campaign.<\/p>\n

Neres, who joined the Eredivisie giants in January 2017 from boyhood club S\u00e3o Paulo, was also key in their Champions League run which ended at the semi-final stage.<\/p>\n

His performances and contributions\u00a0\u2013 12 goals and 15 assists in 50 matches\u00a0\u2013 didn’t go unnoticed with a host of clubs including Premier League outfits Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly<\/a> keen to secure his signature.<\/p>\n

Having signed a new deal \u2013 which will expire in June 2022 \u2013 last year he appears to be in no rush to leave given he is now one of the first names on Erik ten Hag’s team sheet.<\/p>\n
