Recently-appointed Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has tipped Callum Hudson-Odoi to have a similar impact in west London to that of\u00a0Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The talented teen has emerged as one of the most exciting products to come out of the Cobham academy in recent seasons.<\/p>\n

  • He ruptured his\u00a0Achilles tendon in April and was immediately ruled out for six months after undergoing surgery.<\/li>\n

    Such is the England international’s promise, Bayern Munich have seen numerous advances rebuffed by Chelsea, with the winger expected to play an integral role for Lampard next term.<\/p>\n

    The Blues are currently locked in a two-window transfer ban so the new manager will have to work with the tools already at the club, and he has backed his fledgling forward to replicate the talismanic performances of Sancho in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

    Speaking to reporters, Lampard said<\/a>: “I believe Callum has all the attributes to play and make similar statements on the world scene as we are seeing with [Jadon] Sancho and other great players around the world, and that will be when I speak to him what I will tell him he can do at Chelsea.”<\/p>\n
