Kylian Mbappe will “200%” still be at Paris Saint-Germain next season, according to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite only joining PSG permanently from Monaco a year ago, speculation has been rife regarding Mbappe’s future at the club following the Frenchman saying that he wanted “more responsibility”.<\/p>\n

  1. Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco for \u20ac180m (\u00a3165.7m) in 2018 following a year-long loan.<\/li>\n

  3. Upon winning the award, Mbappe said he wanted “more responsibility” either at PSG or elsewhere.<\/li>\n

    Amidst heavy speculation linking Mbappe with a move away from the French capital, PSG president Al-Khelaifi has been defiant on his stance.<\/p>\n

    “I will not let go of this ‘crazy’ player,” he told France Football<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    He added: “He wants to be more involved in our project to grow with the team, the club.<\/p>\n

    “Will he still be at PSG next year? I am not 100% sure but 200%.”<\/p>\n

    Al-Khelaifi seemed slightly less convinced regarding the future of Neymar. The Brazilian has had a troublesome season on and off the pitch, and reports in Spain suggest he is unhappy in Paris.<\/p>\n

    “Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project,” said the PSG president.<\/p>\n

    There has been intense speculation<\/a> regarding the future of Neymar, particularly about a return to the Camp Nou, and no doubt this will continue over the summer. If recent reports are anything to go by, it appears PSG are not big enough for both Neymar and Mbappe.<\/p>\n
