When he called [Mendy], he couldn&#8217;t resist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mendy is not the first player to switch Lyon for Real Madrid, with Mariano Diaz, Karim Benzema and Mahamadou Diarra previously making the move &#8211; though Diaz did initially start at Los Blancos.<\/p>\n<p>But it appears Lyon have wasted little time in replacing Mendy for the upcoming season, with Aulas confirming a new arrival.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve signed another player, Heritier Deyonge [from PSV Eindhoven], who has the same characteristics and is a prospect for the future,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s Belgian and is 17 years old.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Would You Rather Matthijs de Ligt or Frenkie de Jong?
