    A man of De Ligt’s promising ability has naturally attracted the attention of some of the most prestigious clubs across the continent, with the likes of Barcelona, PSG, and the two Manchester clubs reportedly interested in boosting their defensive ranks with the Dutchman.<\/p>\n

    Barcelona have been long-term favourites to sign the defender but recent links with PSG have sparked the potential that a move to Catalonia could fall by the wayside.<\/p>\n

    However, De Ligt’s agent, Mino Raiola, has now confirmed that his player was far from close to completing a move to the oil-rich Ligue 1 champions, dismissing the reports as “fake news”.<\/p>\n
