Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has not given any impressions of a desire to leave the club, according to team-mate Ilkay Gundogan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from Man City this summer, with Bayern Munich among the teams reportedly chasing his signature.<\/p>\n

    Joining Man City from Schalke in 2016, Sane has helped Pep Guardiola’s side retain the Premier League title, as well as winning a domestic treble. But the German has had to make do with a more peripheral role this year, causing links with a move away.<\/p>\n

    Bayern Munich have previously been very vocal<\/a> in their interest, but Gundogan believes Sane has no desire to leave Man City.<\/p>\n

    “I don’t know much [about Sane’s situation], only a little,” he told reporters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    “I also talked to him, but he didn’t give me the impression that he really wants to leave. I don’t think Manchester City wants to give him up either.<\/p>\n

    “Since Leroy still has two years left on his contract, there is no reason to take action.<\/p>\n

    “Therefore, I am assuming that he will stay and I would of course be happy about that.”<\/p>\n
