Five key things to know&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Sergio Ramos has recently been linked with a move away from Real Madrid.<\/li>\n<li>The Real captain told club president Florentino Perez of his desires to leave for China.<\/li>\n<li>Perez insisted the Spaniard would not be allowed to leave on a free transfer.<\/li>\n<li>And Ramos has now revealed he will be staying at Real Madrid.<\/li>\n<li>Ramos has won 20 trophies with Real Madrid since 2005, including four Champions Leagues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>https:\/\/audioboom.com\/posts\/7273460-five-things-we-think-will-happen-in-the-2019-champions-league-final-and-in-the-europa-league<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters, Perez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.squawka.com\/en\/news\/sergio-ramos-real-madrid-perez-china\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>: \u201cThey [Ramos and his advisers] came to see me in my office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey mentioned that he might leave but without a transfer fee because transfer fees in China are very complicated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI told him that he can\u2019t leave and that we would be speaking to the Chinese club interested in signing him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s impossible to let your captain leave for free, that would be setting a bad precedent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Ramos has now confirmed his future, pledging the next season to Real Madrid, with the Spaniard&#8217;s contract up in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tottenham vs Liverpool CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL Squawka Tactics\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rA2nTIsOqdg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Subscribe to <a href=\"http:\/\/sqwk.at\/Squawka-Sub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Squawka\u2019s Youtube channel here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to put rest to rumours that don\u2019t do any well to myself, the club or anybody else involved,\u201d Ramos told reporters at a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to be real clear to the fans. We\u2019ve never had problems (with the club), I\u2019m a Madridista and I\u2019d love to retire here.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is an offer from China and If I didn&#8217;t feel wanted than it&#8217;s an alternative, but at present my deal is with Real Madrid and my plan is to see out my contract.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There has been too much speculation and I wanted to clear this matter up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The wage does not matter to me. I would play for Real Madrid for free.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ramos&#8217; revelation means a continuation of his 14-year spell with Real Madrid, after signing from Sevilla in 2005. Since then, Ramos has tasted all kinds of glory with Los Blancos, winning four Champions Leagues, four La Liga titles and two Copa del Reys among other minor trophies.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ramos clears up relationship with president<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>One of the reasons given for Ramos&#8217; reported desire to leave Real Madrid was due to the Spaniard falling out with club president Perez.<\/p>\n<p>And though Ramos did confirm an offer came in from China, the 33-year-old insists he has never had a problem with Perez.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;I have never had an issue with the president. Our relationship is like a father and son, and of course that dynamic can have moments of conflict too.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My intention is to construct a new Real Madrid with the president and start to look to the future. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I still have the physical strength to play for the club, how long will this last ?
